I'm feeling 23

I can't believe yesterday marks my twenty third year of existence. I feel so old but really happy that I've accomplished a lot of things already at this age. This is the start of another year of adventure with family, colleagues and friends, may it be old or new.

This year I'm planning to celebrate my birthday the whole year round. It's not that I'm going to party for 24/7, it's just I want to incorporate small things in connection to the celebration. I actually made this list of things to do for the year, although I'm still not done with it yet.

Dress: Pretty Witty Stuff and Shoes: Primadonna

Since this is my birthday entry let me share to you guys what I wore today. Yes, you've read that right. My official/actual OOTD. I have set plans for today breakfast, lunch and dinner dates, even errands and attending the mass in between was also an agenda for the day. I knew I was going to have a big trouble if I wear something uncomfortable, that's why I chose to use my embroidered dress. A lot of you might be familiar with this kind of this design if you're a big online shopper fan. This actually has a long sleeve, short sleeve and sleeveless top version. But was thrilled with the dress. So I grabbed the opportunity once they were available at Pretty Witty Stuff.

Necklace: Forever 21 and Belt: SM Kid's Accessories

To put emphasis on the floral pattern of the dress, I've used a nude colored tank top and skirt underneath. Also, I've accessorized with colors brown and gold to keep things look more classic. I started my day of celebrating at Starbucks where I've had breakfast with my friends. Okay. It was already a brunch since it was a bit late for breakfast and early for lunch.

I was in a hurry because I also have a lunch date with Auntie and Popsi at Oyster Villa. Then after that ran a few errands with my lil bro. Accompanied him to meet his partner for USI's prom. After that, I had dinner at White Bean with Ara and Vince. And now I leave you guys with pictures taken yesterday.

So sweet of Ate Beth! :)

I hope you enjoyed it. Birthdays are big for me, that's why I would like to thank everyone who remembered my special day and have sent their greetings and gifts. That is all for this post.

Noticed something? Well, if you haven't it is actually the better pictures. Yes! I finally gave in on investing for a cam all dedicated for blogging. It's actually my birthday gift for myself. Though, I have yet to be trained. So, watch out for more amazing pictures on my next posts after my backlogs. Haha

Also, you can hype my look here.

Family Love

The ones we started life with, the ones we get our values with, the ones who would tell you to dream on and help you reach for it, that's what we all call family. There are still much more to tell about but this post would be endless if I enumerate it all.

Why talk about family? Well, ours just got bigger weeks ago. Yes. This is going to be that special post I dedicate to my new fave couple Kuya Jc and Ate Monica. Aaah. What love can really do! To those who don't know, I am such a hopeless romantic and this wedding thing brought me to tears. I was tearing up when I saw Kuya Jc holding his tears. I just love seeing how Ate Monica could make my brother really happy and vice versa. You guys know that sparkle you see in someone's eyes whenever they laugh or smile? that's one factor that makes the whole thing genuine.

This wouldn't be just like my other posts where I insert my ootd because I stupidly forgot to take a full body picture of my outfit. Just realized it when I already changed my clothes. Anyway, I'll make another post on the few things I have contributed for the wedding which are the gowns for the entourage. Soo excited to share my sketches!

But for now, let's focus on the lovebirds. Well, in my point of view of the love story, the first time I saw Ate Monica I kind of got this feeling that she could possibly be my sister in the future. This may sound cheesy but it's true. Plus, they say couples that look alike are compatible, and they actually do look alike. Anyway, Kuya Jc was different around Ate Monica, the good kind of different. She changed Kuya for the better. Like, he's now more responsible, more affectionate of his feelings and most of all, no longer that grumpy. (Love you Kuya!) Hahah. He's the eldest among us five, so he's the strict type and we find him grumpy sometimes. Hehe. I could see how relax, and happy is Kuya Jc with Ate Monica.

This post will actually be my first ever photo diary, so enjoy!
Oh yes. This gorge photos are all from Beanscoop Photography. Can I just say, this pictures were beyond what I expected it to be. They have captured every single wonderful moments during the wedding.

RG, the most behave ring bearer delivered Ate Monica a bouquet of flowers from Kuya Jc with a message on the morning of the wedding day.

When the bride walks down the aisle,
the gorge wedding was held at the Baguio Cathedral.

When the priest was asking Kuya questions, he'd do this.

Then, he finds out he has to dance the night away.

The single gents at the wedding.

Switching up the game a bit. The one who catches it gets to sit out.

The single ladies' turn. Trip to jerusalem with a twist.

Look at our reactions. Hilarious!

And I finally got to sit out. That was hard and to think I was wearing 3inches pair of stilettos. Ha!

Look who was also relieved. Hahaha! Epic face reaction.

She was able to sing this beautiful wedding song. The one Lea Salonga sang for her wedding vows.

After the reception.

Group picture with the couple. Wacky shot :)

I think it would be too much if I will still add the same day edit video. But will still leave you guys with this epic fail photo booth experience of ours. We had to give a message for 25 seconds before the photo booth starts, and we did nothing but laugh. Video is also from Beanscoop.

ODDS

A day ends quickly when we enjoy the most. That is how I exactly felt when we have come to our last day at Baguio. Technically, it won't be the last since we are definitely going back to visit our new fam.

It was a cold Sunday morning when we had a last minute pasalubong shopping at the market. Then, we went back home and prepared our things. As everyone else is still prepping up, I got the opportunity to get a picture with everyone's favorite, Diesel. He is just the cutest! A really lovable dog.

With everyone's favorite, Diesel!

And also get to sneak at the balcony to take for outfit pictures. Actually, everyone knew I was going to get my pictures taken since I asked permission from Tita Ayda. Hihi. Anyway, the view of the balcony was just breathtaking, you could actually see the downtown of Baguio. I got inspired by it and used it as the background for this shot.

Top: Dream a Little More, Cardigan: True Love-SM GTW,
Jeans: Penshoppe and Shoes: Vans

We were going to have this long trip home which explains how laid-back this ensemble was. Wore one of my DLM shirts which is the Odds shirt, one of their designs for the Hunger Games collection. For more designs, check their site here. Grabbed my cutest striped sheer cardigan that I got from Mom for Christmas, paired it with this skinny jeans leatherette from Penshoppe and to top it all off, put my Kitty Vans sneakers on.

This was actually one of the coldest mornings in Baguio City. It was on the 12th of January when the temperature hit 9.5 degrees C, and it was that sunny. Wished mornings here at home are just as cold in Baguio when you don't need an air conditioner to cool a room. Except that's impossible, I'll prolly just need to wait for the next visit for me to experience it again.

Leaving you guys with a few pictures of me before we left the city.

See the view here?

The famous lion head.

The picture I'd actually believe that I lost a few pounds. Yay!

That is all for this post. I'm making this one short because I don't have that much pictures to show. (I know. I should have known better.) I was having so much fun, I forgot to take as much pictures that I was soo excited to let you guys see. But then, we'll still come back soon and I promise to snap away every action.

Also, you can hype my look here.
